Implemented a Unitisation assessment on this Gas condensate field in 2,500m water depth. The work included an independent assessment of field resources and their split between the license areas involved. The work’s objective was to critically assess the Operator’s own assessment of total resources and his opening position for unitisation negotiations.
As a part of this unitisation process, updated the previous study to clearly estimate the percentage split for a deep water gas-condensate field straddling the border of two licenses. The study included updating the static and dynamic models prepared in the previous study. Facies and property models were re-evaluated and updated based on the new inversion volumes. The fluid models and schedule were similarly updated. In place and recoverable volumes were estimated, as well as their split in each license.
