We provided technical support to the owners of a non-associated and a wet gas field in the United States. The support included conducting a full audit of each asset to establish a clear picture of reserves, developing forward development plans and negotiating with field partners to ensure that development proceeded in a careful cost efficient manner that ensured certain returns to the partners. The brief was to ensure development proceeded efficiently but with minimum capital exposure and that a self funding development was achieved as quickly as possible.
We assessed what the impact of hydraulic fracturing would be on these "tight" gas fields and assessed the validity of a seismic interpretation performed by a third party. We also developed a preliminary resource assessment for the licence area including assessments of contingent and prospective resources.
