Oil and Gas ConsultancyWe carry out geophysical assessments of license areas, prospects and fields in both onshore and offshore dispositions. Our geophysicists conduct purely geophysical assignments but more often they provide the first step in an INTEGRATED assessment of an asset; be that a license, prospect or field. Our geophysicists have on average 15 years experience gained mostly through working for oil companies in the major oil and gas provinces of the world:
Sequence and Seismic stratigraphy are used.
Our projects include 2D and 3D seismic interpretation on all scales: from regional interpretation and basin analysis, through lead/prospect definition and evaluation to integrated field mapping.
Experience in interpretation through a wide range of structural styles and complexities and in all geological environments, including alluvial, deltaic, deep marine clastic, carbonate platforms/ramps, syn-rift settings, etc.
As part of our Reserves/Resource determination process we carry out seismic interpretation, depth conversion and mapping of structures.
We also review of Third Party interpretation, depth conversion and mapping as a part of Reserve/Resource verification.
Our primary tool for seismic interpretation and analysis is Seismic Micro Technology's The Kingdom suite:
Geophysical interpretation can be integrated with geological interpretation, depending on the project.
Mapping of indentified structures is conducted in either The Kingdom Suite or the Petrosys mapping software.
Assessments are conducted on Dell Precision Workstations and printing support is provided through HP large format full colour printers.
Our personnel have experience of using Landmark software for seismic interpretation and this can be used if it is a client preference.
We can support offshore or onshore 2D and 3D seismic survey acquisition and processing through all stages - including planning, site surveying, contract negotiations, parameter testing, acquisition and processing. Both time and depth projects can be undertaken.
